Changa is a short-video app currently in beta, made by BITCS. We've kept Changa small and private. This policy describes the very small amount of information involved when you use the app, what we do with it, and what we don't.
Your email (only if you give it). On the profile screen there is a "Stay updated" option. If you choose to enter your email there, the email is saved only on your device, in the app's local storage. We do not send it to any server. We have no way to read it. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, the email is gone.
That is the only data the app handles.
The app does not collect, request, or transmit any of the following:
The app requests only two Android permissions: Internet access (to stream videos) and Vibrate (for a small tap-feedback on the like button).
Videos in the app are streamed directly from public, third-party HTTPS URLs. Your device makes a normal web request to each video URL — the same as opening that URL in a browser. Changa itself does not see or log this request. The third-party host may receive standard request metadata (your IP and user-agent), exactly as with any web request you make.
The app contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash reporter, no Firebase, and no third-party tracking of any kind.
There is no Changa account. We do not share information with anyone, because we don't hold any.
Changa is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly handle data from anyone under 13 (and as described above, we don't really handle data from anyone).
If we change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and post the new version at this URL.
