CHILD SAFETY & CSAE (CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE & EXPLOITATION) STANDARDS

Summary

At business.changa.in (Changa), the safety and well-being of children is an absolute priority. We have a zero-tolerance policy for any content, behavior, or material that sexualizes, exploits, or harms minors. This page describes our standards, reporting options, moderation procedures, prevention measures, and how we cooperate with law enforcement.

Definitions

• Child / Minor: any person under the age of 18 (or as defined by local law).
• Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE): any sexual activity or material that involves a child or minor, including but not limited to sexual images, solicitations, sexualized descriptions, grooming, trafficking, and distribution of exploitative content.

Zero Tolerance

• We prohibit any content that sexualizes, exploits, or harms minors. This includes images, video, audio, text, offers, requests, or any facilitation of sexual activity involving minors.
• Any user, third-party vendor, or partner found to be involved in CSAE will be banned and reported to relevant authorities.

How to Report

What Happens After a Report

1. Acknowledgement: we aim to acknowledge receipt within 24 hours.
2. Triage: reports are triaged immediately for urgency and potential threat.
3. Preservation: relevant content and metadata are preserved for investigations.
4. Human review: trained moderators review within 48 hours (faster for urgent cases).
5. Action: removal/takedown of content, account suspension/ban, and referrals to law enforcement as required by law.
6. Notification: we will notify the reporting party of updates where appropriate while respecting privacy laws.

Prevention & Technical Measures

• Automated detection: we use automated classifiers, hashing (for known illegal images), and filters to identify suspected CSAE content.
• Human moderation: all flagged content receives human review by trained staff.
• Age assurance: we implement reasonable measures to reduce minor impersonation or underage access; account age checks and additional verification may be required where age is material.
• SDK/vendor vetting: any third-party services integrated into our platform must comply with our vendor security and privacy policies and must not facilitate CSAE.
• Safe product design: default privacy settings protect minors; we limit direct messaging between adults and minors where appropriate.

Confidentiality & Data Handling

• Reports and supporting evidence are stored securely with restricted access.
• We collect only the information needed to investigate and will retain it in accordance with applicable laws and our retention policy.
• We will not publicly disclose personal data from reports unless required by law.

Cooperation with Law Enforcement

• We preserve and provide information to law enforcement in accordance with legal process.
• We may proactively notify law enforcement of imminent threats or instances where the safety of a child is at risk.

User Responsibilities

• Do not upload, share, solicit, or facilitate sexual content involving minors.
• If you witness or suspect CSAE, report it immediately via the channels above.
• Abide by our community guidelines and actively help maintain a safe space.

Training & Governance

• Employees and contractors who handle reports receive specialized training on CSAE identification, trauma-informed response, legal obligations, and evidence preservation.
• A designated Safety Officer and legal contact are responsible for CSAE response and liaising with authorities.

Review & Updates

• These standards are reviewed at least annually and updated as required by law or best practices.
