Child Safety Standards

Last updated: 23 May 2026

Changa takes child safety seriously. This page describes how we handle child-safety concerns in the current version of the app and our standards going forward.

How the app works today

Changa is currently a curated, view-only short-video app. There is no upload, no comments, no direct messaging, and no user-to-user contact. The feed contains short clips selected by us from third-party free-use sources, vetted for general-audience appropriateness.

Prohibited content

We do not knowingly include, and we do not tolerate, any content that constitutes Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) in any form. If we ever become aware of such content reachable through the app, it will be removed immediately and reported to the appropriate authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal in India where applicable.

Age guidance

Changa is intended for users aged 13 and above. The Google Play store listing reflects this age guidance.

Reporting

If you believe content in the app violates child-safety standards, or you have any child-safety concern, please email us immediately:

childsafety@bitcs.in

Include a description of the content, when you saw it, and your contact details (optional). We aim to acknowledge child-safety reports within 24 hours.

Compliance

We comply with the Google Play Child Safety Standards programme requirements, and we will update this policy as those requirements evolve.
